Ghost house Eastern Washington
We found this really beautiful abandoned house in Adams County, Washington last weekend. I call these houses "ghost houses" since they are similar to ghost towns except there's no town surrounding them. Just sad, empty houses whose owners are long gone and probably forgotten. It was ideal since I was able to walk right up to it and get some closer shots.

That first one is so beautiful. It reminds me of that painting Chrissy has of the girl sitting on the yellow field hill with the house behind her. (Obviously, I don't know the painter's name.)
Hmmm. I'll have to ask Chrissy about it. George said it reminded him of the house in Christina's World by Andrew Wyeth. Maybe that's the one you're thinking about. Thanks for the compliment.
